Seven for seven. The payout was 2.70x.

That number is the part worth sitting with. A perfect seven-leg Max slip returned less than 3x, and only because a 50% boost token was attached. The base multiplier was 1.80x.

The reason is in the picks themselves. Goff had thrown for 300-plus twice already that season and 200 yards is a floor for a starting quarterback. Fears was averaging in the high teens. Queen going under a double-double, Whitmore going under two threes, both were the likely side. Every leg was a heavy favorite, so Sleeper priced each one near even money and the slip barely compounded.

Compare that to the 1000x headline. That figure needs eight legs and every one of them priced long. Seven correct picks paid 2.70x here because of what was on the card, not how many things were on it. Check the multiplier on each side before you lock the slip, not just the number at the bottom.
